I'm sure you've already slept on the greatest mini-series/episode/movie that HBO and TV in general has ever produced.

The first time I watched this show (almost 10 years ago), it was addicting.
I would stay up late night while my wife (then girlfriend) would just go to bed.
I would have 3 episodes in 1 night and couldn't wait for the next one to come...
At times I would purposely skip weeks so that I could watch them in clumps at once....
13 episodes to start and you were hooked like the O'Jays singing it.

Season 1......Police & Barksdale.....nothing but pure hoodness.
Season 2.....moved on to the ports & "The Greek"...plus more hoodness...
Season 3....MARRRRRLO!....need I say more?....politics found it's way in...
Season 4....the season I felt most of my friends (the teachers) would really enjoy watching....plus HOODNESS.
Season 5...Newspaper connection plus the FINAL SEASON....

So I just wanted to express my gripe about how $hi**y the All Star Game has become...

Dunk contest = wack!
Skills comp = wack!
3 point shooting = wack!
rookie/sophomore...nice change in direction.

My suggestion is that the NBA implement a mandatory rule to the stars to participate...

Imagine this:

Kobe, Lebron, DWade, DRose, Durant, Blake Griffin all participate in the Dunk Contest, Skills Comp & 3 point shooting contest....
No other people allowed.
Just those 6.

Now I guarantee peeps would be watching every single night.

There has been no interest in the ASG (outside of being in LA) for like 10 years.
A.I. got robbed by a shorter NateRob.
Superman wins with a dunk that wasn't really a dunk.
KLove wins the 3point shootout....
need I go on?

Here are my hopes for the 2nd half of the shortened (asterisk) NBA season....
Jeremy Lin continues to do his thang (albeit smaller numbers, taking 13 & 6 a night to average out Chosen1 and Ninja P's comments)....
DRose starts to put up MVP numbers again....
Durant, Westbrook & Ibaka start a new "BIG 3" in OKC....
Lakers keep our 2 big men, find a way (maybe using the trade exception to sign someone to the 1 or 3 positions) and we make a deep run in the playoffs....
Jerry Buss takes over DTD operations from his son...
Jeanne starts to make interviews, appearances and tweets more....
Allen Iverson accepts the D League pay and gets on an NBA team again....
Minnesota takes the NBA by storm ....
DWIGHT decides to quit bball and join WWE.
